Savveo is a great company based out of Charlotte, NC. They have set out to revolutionize the way that local advertising is bought and sold. No longer will the process be fragmented, with Savveo it is now an online marketplace!

Kelly Hook runs marketing at Carolina Ballet. She is the former student body President at NC State University. During her college career, she was fortunate enough to be invited to Russia to discuss foreign relations.

Carla Valdes – The Fort (DC Tech)

Carla Valdes took some time to give us a quick tour of The Fort, a tech accelerator based in the heart of downtown DC. Fortify.vc has backed the open and collaborative working space in order to help young companies accelerate their growth. It is not uncommon to see mentors and VCs making regular visits to The Fort.

Carla and her partner Jonathan Perrelli are great people who have done amazing things for the DC Tech scene. While we were there, the energy and enthusiasm was overwhelming. The Fort is making an impact…..stay tuned!
